1. General provisions
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes what personal data the mobile application (the "App") collects, how that data is used, stored and protected, and what rights users have with respect to their data.
By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please stop using the App.
This Policy has been prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" and the applicable legislation of the Russian Federation.
2. What data we collect
2.1. Data you provide at registration
- First and last name
- Email address (where required)
- Phone number (where required)
- Profile photo (optional, at the user's discretion)
- Password in encrypted form
- Gender
- Age
2.2. Event data
- Title, description, date, time and location of events created by the user
- List of events the user participates in
- Photos attached to events
2.3. Geolocation data
The App requests access to the device's geolocation in order to show events near you. We use location data solely to:
- Find events near your current location
We do not share a user's precise coordinates with third parties and do not track location in the background without the user's explicit consent.
2.4. Messaging data
- Messages in event group chats
- Private (direct) messages between users
Messages are stored on the App's servers to enable the chat feature. We do not read users' correspondence for marketing purposes or to sell data to third parties.
2.5. Technical data
- Device type, operating system version
- Unique device identifier
- IP address
- App usage data (event logs, errors)
- Push token for sending notifications
3. Purposes of data use
The collected data is used solely for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing the user's account
- Enabling event search and filtering features
- Showing events near the user's current location
- Enabling chats and direct messages
- Sending notifications about new messages, changes to events and other activity
- Ensuring security and preventing fraud
- Improving the quality and functionality of the App
- Providing technical support to users
- Complying with legal requirements
4. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or share users' personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only in the following cases:
- Technical partners and cloud service providers that support the App's infrastructure (data is shared only to the extent necessary to perform the service)
- Analytics and error-monitoring services (e.g., Firebase, Sentry, Amplitude, Grafana) — in anonymized form
- At the request of authorized government bodies in accordance with applicable law
- With the user's explicit consent
All technical partners are required to keep data confidential and may not use it for their own purposes.
5. Data storage and protection
User data is stored on secured servers. We apply the following security measures:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS / TLS)
- Password hashing using modern algorithms (bcrypt / Argon2)
- Restricted data access — authorized personnel only
- Regular data backups
- Monitoring and logging of suspicious activity
Direct messages and event chats are not end-to-end encrypted, but they are protected in transit and at rest. More detailed information about the encryption methods used is available on request.
6. Data retention periods
- Account data is stored until the user deletes the account
- Event data is stored for 12 months after the event ends
- Correspondence is stored on the servers for 12 months
- Technical journals and logs — no more than 90 days
- After account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except for data whose retention is required by law
7. User rights
In accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ and applicable law, you have the right to:
- Obtain information about which of your data is being processed
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data (the "right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent to data processing
- Restrict data processing in cases established by law
- File a complaint with Roskomnadzor (the authorized personal-data protection authority)

8. Geolocation: additional terms
Access to geolocation is requested only after the user's explicit consent through the operating system's native dialog. At any time you may:
- Revoke geolocation permission in your device settings
- Use the App without geolocation (the nearby-search feature will be unavailable)
We use geolocation data only while the App is actively in use and do not collect it in the background.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy. When making material changes, we will notify users through the App or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
